Apple has released a new iPad Air featuring the Apple-designed M1 processor. It comes in a new color palette and has a new Ultra Wide front camera with Center Stage for a more realistic video conferencing experience, a USB-C connection with up to 2x quicker transfer rates, and 5G on cellular variants – all for the same price as its predecessor.
According to Apple, superior cameras and compatibility with the newest accessories allow users, such as content makers, gamers, and students, to push the frontiers of creativity, productivity, and self expression.
The new iPad Air will be available to order beginning Friday, March 11, at apple.com/store and in the Apple Store app in 29 countries and regions, including the United States, with availability beginning Friday, March 18.
The Wi-Fi version of the iPad Air start at $599, while Wi-Fi + Cellular start at $749. The new iPad Air comes in space gray, starlight, pink, purple, and blue finishes and is available in 64GB and 256GB variants.
Current and recently accepted college students and their parents, as well as instructors, staff, and homeschool teachers of all grade levels, have access to education pricing.
